This database contains
information on West Indian amphibians and reptiles. Currently it is primarily a
checklist, but is the most up-to-date such list available. Besides an overall
checklist it presents for major islands or island groups. Soon, the island lists will be more
detailed and include individual islands in Bahamas and Lesser Antilles.
Caribherp also includes a web-based identification key (Webkey), biogeographic
regions, and a list of Anolis ecomorphs (see Ecology). Other features will be added in the future as the database evolves.
I welcome suggestions for improvement. Please do not hesitate to point out
errors so that they may be fixed promptly.
